Block 7 Dumplings

on

Pretty much the only Chinese restaurant in Eastland Shopping Centre. Priced just above average for a casual dining restaurant but the quality of food is good.

We only tried two of their dishes: Peking dry noodle, $15.60 and Deep Fried Homemade Bean Curd with Spicy salt, $14.80.

The size of the Peking dry noodle was generous, there was enough meat and it tends towards a sweet sauce base. Cucumbers were sliced perfectly for every mouthful. Noodles were done well – Al dente without clumping together as we mixed it all. There was definitely enough sauce for the dry noodle.

I very much enjoyed the tofu. It was not spicy at all. So don’t be afraid to try this lightly fried tofu with silken texture inside. The inside was so soft and hot to eat. It was worth the burning of my tongue! The tofu was the better of the two.

Overall I had a good experience. With quick service and good food. I would revisit to try other dishes on their menu. Highly recommend the tofu!
