Easy to find and newly opened on Clarendon street in South Melbourne…

We went on ANZAC day for our dinner. It was pretty quiet because everyone was home that night. But it was good for us to see their service and quality of food!

I had the Messy bun is a hot dog twist on a brioche bun, topping bacon with pickled, caramelised onion and shake sauce.

Their hot dog was not too special. Wish they did something different (fried or cut differently?). They were generous with the sauce! And I loved the creaminess and a kick of spice in the shake sauce.

It was definitely messy to eat because everything is sprinkled on top. Thankfully we were provided with disposable gloves! Yay! so handy…

J ordered the Elvis Style burger, it was nicely cooked – tender beef fillet meat on a brioche bun. Do you like peanut sauce? This one is in the burger itself. Funky – topped with tomato, bacon, peanut sauce and raspberry jam. But J loved it.

Their Chips has gravy and cheese on it, but we asked for no cheese. Gravy and chips were good! Chips were seasoned before drizzling a good amount of gravy on top. Gravy was a bit too peppery. I could take it, but maybe not for everyone.

Service was a bit slow having one person cooking and the other looking after the shopfront. But the food was in good quality.
