On a Saturday cold night at hardware lane, we strolled down the lane and Il Nostro Posto’s menu caught our attention for our not too hungry stomachs.

Busy at the outdoor seating… But they could accomodate us walk-in-ers.

We were seated downstairs at the corner. My first thought was its so secluded that we might just be forgotten about when we need some service. And I was wrong, service was spot on, it was like the waiter could read my mind.

I wanted menu, he gave me menu, I wanted the dessert, he come immediately without me doing anything. His pace for us was perfect. He was also wonderful in explaining and translating what all the descriptions was in Italian terms. Perfect!

As for the food, beautiful. We had Paccheri Agnello, (lamb). Pasta was perfectly cooked, sauce was slightly salty, but it went so well with the Insalata Rucola (rocket & pear side salad). The proportion of the side is generous. Always a plus

Dessert we had Pannacotta (vanilla & strawberry). Texturally smooth and wobbly just set. It wasn’t extremely sweet with the sauce. So I was happy. Strawberries were fresh.

Although we only had several dishes, just based on this, I’d be happy to revisit. Maybe with a group next time and try their other dishes like calzone.
